Hey! Thank you for checking out my website. My name is Connor Alexander. I'm an 18 year old based in Toronto (at the moment), striving to be a force in the music industry someday. My music is entirely written by me, melodies are done by me as well! I strive be creative, ground breaking, fresh, modern, and especially camp.

MERCURIAL - ALBUM
MERCURIAL is my album that has all its songs written with melodies (by me). Here's a little bit about it!
SOUND
This album encompasses sound that inspires me. From slow ballads to upbeat bops, it has everything. Some songs make you want to cry, and some that make you wanna dance.

The overall sound is definitely pop. I wanted to have a nostalgic 2000s sound yet modern at the same time. I adore pop music with lots of production, and that's how I imagine this album to be like.
VISUALS
The entire album is a story. From the first track to the last, it tells a story. I want to be NEW, modern and fresh. At the same time, Camp and Creativity are the two most important things to me. Because of this, I want all my visuals to have a cool concept and good thinking behind it.

Album cover: My two ideas were me standing in front of a burning house and the house represents my past or my feelings literally burning. The second one is my face made of glass with cracks. And parts of my face is falling down.
BACKSTORY
MERCURIAL was really born in 2021/2022. I do have 1 or 2 songs written from 2020 but the bulk of the album was written in 2021/22.

Mercurial means: something (or someone) subject to sudden mood changes/swings. Since the entire album is about my feelings, I decided to call it MERCURIAL. The name came up because when I was younger, I used to make fake albums with songs that already existed, and named them after feelings (ex. Creatively in Love, Annoyed & Irritable, etc). MERCURIAL's lyrics are done, melody is done, the songs just aren't produced yet...
